Deja vu information

Hello friends,

I am telling you about deja vu.

Reader & wanted to know about deja vu.

Basically deja vu is when something happens and somehow you feel certain you remember it having happened before even though it's happening right now in real time. It is a discombombulating type of feeling because as human beings we are pretty accustomed to experiencing memories after they happen, you aren't supposed to get a picture in picture type of situation.

The human brain is a very crazy piece of meat with a lot of electricity in it, so most people explain this phenomena as a quirk of hamburger. Even though our lived experiences are huge and powerful for us they are for the most part the result of things being very minorly different inside of our bodies, so it makes a lot of sense! Like it could be a thing where your brain is out of sync a bit in a way where part of it is perceiving something and another part of it is perceiving it and usually they would work like your two eyes to provide you with full experience but this time you accidentally unfocused them and now you are having two simultaneous experiences of the same event and your only frame of reference for having an experience on top of another experience really is remembering things so you're like okay this is a memory but some kind of super fucked up memory of a thing that's currently happening.

There's all kinds of brain things that could be happening and any of that stuff you could say to a doctor and they wouldn't necessarily start sighing and prescribing you a full brain removal and assignment to an ore processing center. But when you move away from that we can go to the category of Weird Stuff, which might not be true but is more fun so here's some of those options:

YOU HAD A PROPHETIC VISION YOU FORGOT

Now, it's not that big a deal if you have prophetic visions. Everybody gets the low grade ones where you suddenly have absolute certainty about what will happen in the future and then it happens, and you discard those because sometimes you have absolute certainty about what happens in the future and it turns out you were totally wrong and possibly stupid to have thought that was what would happen in the future. The major kind of prophetic visions, iunno how those go, but I imagine those stick in the ole' craw. But deja vu could be a really minor prophetic vision that you have and then just dismiss as you being delulu when whoops it was actually correctlu.

TIME WORKS DIFFERENTLY THAN HOW WE THINK

So this one basically would have to do with time having a different shape than a straight line, some people say it's a diamond, others big mess of pasta, others flat circle, could also be a popcorn? But because of how the human brain works we can only experience them line style. This would mean that future events can effect past events and you can have experiences before you've had them because past present and future are sort of fake ideas. If you decide this is cool to you that's fine and I'm pleased for you but, and I think I said this in one of these before, time being shaped differently to how you perceive it ultimately kind of doesn't change anything for you. I mean this in the nicest way but you're a linear being so even if time is a pizza pie that don't change the fact you're going to die after you're born. That's ok!

YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN ALIVE

So this one would suggest that everyone is reincarnated as themselves over and over again. So like you do have a past life, it's just identical to this one. So sometimes something happens and you're like didn't this happen before? And it did, millions of times, so you're kind of correct on that one! Good job! Now this one might be exciting because it could also explain gut feelings like wow I should do this or I definitely shouldn't do that because maybe you died or fell in love a million times before? Like it could be that we are doomed to repeat ourselves but it's more exciting to think maybe we've got a shot at living infinitely better lives through repetition? Of course some people's better lives, not to be a bummer, for sure involve not giving birth to some of us so there's some knots in the notion. Try not to get too caught up in all this because if you don't exist in the next universe you won't know and you certainly must live this one life you have to the fullest regardless of any of that other stuff. There's probably no awards ceremony for whoever did it the best. DON'T TRY TO WIN AN AWARD FOR BEING YOURSELF THE MOST ANYBODY EVER HAS.

Ultimately what we can say about deja vu is that it's a weird thing that happens sometimes and nobody knows why, which might seem scary, but remember the same thing is basically true about sleep.
